(Hopefully) getting some new girls!

Yep, today I missed the bus to my French class...
So instead I went to the pet shop in the mall I bought Bambi & Lolita from. They always have about 5 cups with males in them, along with some half gallon 'designer' type tank that holds two tiny females. I think they're always siblings.

Today they had the two cutest little girls! They looked identical to each other. They were very roly-poly and tiny. Dark bodies with almost indigo scales and (from what I could see) red fins. They seemed pretty healthy for two girls in a cold .5 gallon. The top of the water was kinda filmy, too.

Another thing that annoyed me was that they had a red CT in a tank with a few tiger barbs. They were really tiny, though, and the CT seemed quite healthy and active. But still...

Sunday my aunt and uncle will most likely be going out for the whole day, so hopefully I will sneak out and buy them. They were really cute.

Oh, and while I was doing the WCs today I decided to measure my little tank that i haven't cleaned yet. I thought originally it was 1 gallon, but it turns out it's 2 gallon! So if Gloria can't play nice, I can't feel guilty about sticking her in a 'small' tank anymore. Hope everything turns out well though. 8)

Oh, they will be...which is why I'm buying them while they're gone. 8)
They rarely come into my room anyway, so hopefully they won't find out.

After Lolita and my CT died a few days ago, my aunt said I should stop buying fish-or at least vunerable ones-for a while.

...Well, it's been a while for me! I do miss Lolita a lot, but I'm excited about these two girls.

Exciting news! I got a new girl today! I'll be making a post soon...

It's not 'the twins' (as I've been calling them in my mind), but hopefully I will still go snatch those two up as well...6 females in a 10 gal should be okay, right?
