What the heck???

I walk into my room and look at my bettas, and Berry has a huge chunck of his tail and top fin missing!
they were fine this morning, and there's no way Horizon or Amir could have got to him! It's horrible! I don't see any of the fins in the tank, but it looks like they were ripped off him! He doesn't seem to be too bothered by it, but i can see some red in it the ends of where his fins would have ripped, it seems he's been bleeding a bit.

Amir and Horizon are both fine though.

What the heck could have caused this?! his beautiful fins have been damaged! D:

As I'm watching him and Horizon, I'm seeing him turn around, his tail fin against the divider, and Horizon comes over and seem to nip at him through the holes, and he tries to jump out of the tank! Like he's scared! Should I take him out and get him his own tank? He keeps flarring at Horizon as well, but not in the flirty way, in the, "CUT THE crap!" way.

No, I wouldn't think he could reach his top fin. I didn't notice that until now. It doesn't look like finrot.

well either way. I took Horizon out, and push the two dividers together so Berry and Amir have 5 gallons each, and with the two dividers together, i figured neith one of them could nip through that. Berry does seem more relaxed now that Horizon isn't next to him... maybe she was ticking him off somehow.

I agree with Christina.
Caesar does it time to time and his looks very similar to what your fish fins look like.
He might have been flaring and swimming and back forth too hard because of the other betta and just burst his fins.

Just to let you know, I just had a similar experience. Have you done a water change lately? Every time I'd do a water change (this was for over a month) my fish's fins would get ripped and full of holes. I finally pinpointed it to something in my well water. My last water change I boiled the entire 5 gallons of water and everything has been fine. Now we are going to "shock" our well to kill any bacteria. I don't know what your water source is, but I spent a great deal of energy trying to figure out what was going on with my bettas because I KNOW that my tanks are betta safe.

Of course, he could have bitten them. My tail biter can reach all of his fins if he gets stressed, but only normally goes for the tail. If your fish appeared to be stressed I'd consider tail biting as a very real possibility. Fin rot doesn't look probable because of the appearance of the fins.
