Namu and his cat fish

Well Namu and his cory cat are sick. I'm not sure what it is, the cat fish lays on his back and breathes all heavy and Namu lays on the bottom and breathes heavily. He's eating but he's not swimming very much. What's wrong?

Last time one of my bettas did that, was because of nitrate poisoning. Take them out quick and give them new treated water with stress coat. i caught mine too late, but i think he had it when i got him and didn't see it.

The cat fish died but Manu looks better I've been doing extra water changes.
