So i just got a betta on friday and set him up in his new 1.5 gallon aquarium. the tank does have a "hang on the back" filter that i use. the tank was NOT cycled (told i didnt need to bc of its size) but i notcied last night and this morning that it was kind of cloudy......could it be cycling? should i be checking water params like i do with my tropical tank? i did do a PWC last night only removing about 1.5 cups of old water and replacing with new. i used PRIME as a water conditioner, is this ok? should i be doing bigger PWC? if so how much and how often?
