How do you know?

My boyfriend bought a veiltail male from Petsmart last night. He's gorgeous, yet some of his fin seems to curl? We're afraid he might have fin rot. I'm away from home, so I don't have a cable for my camera. I'll put up pics as soon as possible. In the meantime, could someone just list some of the symptoms?

One of my CT males have some curled fins from being in his little cup. Someone told me that they usually don't go back. Let me find the link about it.
