Tank upgrade. (Yes, yet another question)

Ok, so my current setup is a 1 gallon acrylic, with an airpump and a light. Now that I'm getting to know my guy better, I'm finding that he's really cramped in his current setup.

I'd like him to be in a bigger (and preferrably glass) tank. Would this one do? http://www.marineland.com/sites/Mari...=1932&mid=3227
(Looking at a 12 gallon)

Also, Do you need an air pump if the tanks is filtered?

Thanks again for helping the rookie.

Eclipse's aren't glass but it's a great tank. I have the 3 gallons and they're wonderful!
Air pumps and air stones just add water movement and make noise, they don't filter anything. It's not needed. Besides the filters in Eclipse's are so niceeeeeeee.

Edit: The 12 gallons may be glass I guess, from the website.
My 3 gallons are acrylic though.

Another question since I've got you all here (thanks for the replies!): I've got an air stone in my little 1 gallon-er. (Pump looks pretty standard, came with the tank.) Does he need it? I taped off half of it incase it over aerated if there's such a thing.

Thankyou! *runs upstairs and unplugs it* Fish doesn't really like it anyways, I think it's too noisy.

I put one in mine, without the fish, to see what it looks like and it looks pretty cool but some bettas don't like it while others do. The pumps ARE rather noisy, though.
