14 or 38 gallon..what do you think?

hey folks. so I am getting a 38 gallon this weekend. now I am deciding where to put my CT who is in the dining room. I have several options, wondering what would be best for him.

option 1: 20 gallon split for 4(or 3) bettas
option 2: put him in the 14 with the julii corys
option 3: 38 gallon with many other fish,possibly corys,cherry barbs,danios and pencilfish

if i could put him in the 14 and he doesnt pick on the corys, that would be great. that way i dont have to pull out my 20 and have to buy more things for it. i mean i dont mind, but its gonna be a pain lol. anywho.whatcha think??

Going with the 3-5 watt per gallon rule it should be ok, However, it really depends on your climate. Mine is kinda cold so I need 5 watts per gallon, but if your room temp is normally higher than mine then 3 watts will do just fine. Good luck with the new tank!! Have fun :)
