House renov. and bettas!!

Hi!!
Were getting some house work done, as in putting in new floors and I'm just wondering if jasper will be ok with all the noise and the vibrations of the hammer in the house tomorrow. My oncle is bringing his big saw and there will be alot of baging, im just asking cause wich each hammer bang the house shakes.
So what should I do with the fish, will he be ok...or should i put him in his cup and bring him to a neighboors..or will that stress him out to much (cause he really hates that cup).
Any sugestions will be apreciated...

I would take him to a neighbor's. I had some work done on my house last year and I took mine to a neighbor's. I had them in my room when they put tile down in my bathroom and it got so dusty and there was dust in their water! When they did the carpet I took them to a neighbor's.

if it's not too cold/hot outside, you could put him in your car.

Sadly I can't move his tank, will he be ok in his cup I got him in for a whole day or should I put him in his betta bowl...
say if I don't move him, just close the door in my room should he be ok then...
I know I ask alot of questions, just too curious for my own good *lol*

If nothing is going to be done in your room, you could just leave him in his tank and then check on him to see if the hammering and noise are bothering him. If the noise and vibrations are bothering him, then you could take him to the neighbor's.

Yeah, I agree take it how it goes. If you really feel that he is being unnecessarily stressed, then the bigger container the better to bring him to your neighbors. What size tank is he in now? Maybe your heater would fit in a 2.5 gallon container...just because I'd be worried that he'd freeze without a heater, but I'm from a cold climate so I always worry about temp.

he should be okay in your room, but if they are doing anything that will get dusty, make sure you put a towel at the bottom opening of your door. i had work done about 4 months ago, and that is what i had to worry about, i actually moved mine to my car in the garage for awhile while i cleaned up the dust and then i did 100% water change just to be safe

to answer ur question, he's in a 2.5 gallon tank now, he does have a heater.
he's in my room with the door closed, I checked up on him earlyer, he's not pink (he turn's a pale pinkish when he's stressed) but I notticed he's a bit nervous and he took a big bite out of his tail. He's bothered I guess he never bit his tail before.
Im thinking of bringing him over to my friends for the week-end...
