Spots on fishy?

Today I looked at my sisters boy fish lewy. I sawl some black spots on him and was wondering if it was bad. I want to help my sisters fish but my sister wont beleav that her fish is sick and says he is just fine, he just lookes like that, and sevrel other excuses and wont let me treat him. I'm woried that her fish is going to die. I wan't to prevent it as well as I can so i need suggustons of what it is and how to treat it. Prefibly somthing I can do quicly and not make it so she wonte notice me doing that. If you have a sugjuston that is big and noticeabule post it any way.

unusal black spots should be a concern, this can be a symptom of a protozoa (worm) infestation. here is a link on black spot disease, you should research this topic to see if your sister's fish is exhibiting more signs of this disorder.

check out at your local petstore for proper medications for this disease, I am not sure how to treat aquarium fish for this disorder. I only learned how to treat aquaculture production fish.

I think this organism (if I remember correctly from my fish health class) needs more then one host though, not sure if you have snails but if you do I would remove them for the time being (just in case).So it cannot cycle again.

I know what he has! It's ick =(. But I have no clue how to treat it. 5green I was wondering if you could tell me what the one websight was called so I can look up how to treat it but it would be nice if the people who know how to treat it, could tell me how.=)

You said the fish had black spots, a symptom of ich is white spots...and velvet is gold spots. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

But if you're sure it's ich, I've seen tons of ich meidcation at petstores.

Aquarisol, Maracide and Jungle ick Guard are meds for treating ick.
