Betta Christmas

I have my two bettas, Tiffany and lucky that get spoiled with love. Sence Christmas is in two weeks, I desided that I'm going to ask for a new thermometer ( when I was cleaning one of the tanks I toke the thermomitor out and then set it down on the barhroom countor and the think shaders wih lots of little black balls hitting the ground that was fun to clean up). A 2.5 to 3 gallon new tank with light filter. Is there any thing that I should also ask to get for Christmas for my, Exept another betta?

If its not heated, get a under-thebowl heating pad to keep his bowl warm when it gets cold.

Additional Stress Coat and/or decorations never hurt :). Maybe get a frog as a bottom feeder with your betta. Bettas generally leave them alone, and when they get big they look epic.

Tiffany would kill the frog because when she first saw lucky, her flare buddy she wanted to kill him.

They already have blood worms which they happily do tricks for.

AFD's are generally ok with a betta. The betta may pick on him for a little bit at first, but soon the betta will either lose interest, or the frog will get pissed off and bite back. And once that happens, you'll notice any betta giving the frog a very wide berth.

I would say it's ok. It may technically be considered "overstocked", but their bioload is low and they do bottom feed, so any excess food they can grab, though you still have to feed them.

They make keeping the tank a little easier, and are neat to look at when they get really big in 2-3 years.

Good luck!

How much do they cost and what do the frogs eat besides food that sinks to the bottom

They eat mostly anything bettas eat. No, scratch that. They eat literally everything.

I have mine fed on sinking betta pellets and bloodworms. The frogs are about $3.33 per frog where I live. I suspect it is similar where you live
