dosen't flare

I'm so confused, my betta Akiro does not flare, but when I put Lync's tank next to him he just dosen't care about lync (Lync goes nuts) also, I got akiro like a month ago. Cobalt dosen't flare either,but I just got him last night. any suggestions would be great.

Some bettas will flare more than others. My blue HM LOVES to flare, he's so full of himself :P I haven't seen my new guy flare at all, but it could be because he's not comfortable enough yet.

oh, and does not flaring effect the breeding process because my 2 crown tails always swim next to eachother(I get the feeling he has the hots for luna), but Cobalt dosen't flare.

Your welcome :) Somehow I ended up with 14...don't ask me how.haha :P I'm not sure if it affects their breeding process, I wouldn't think so, but I don't know for sure.

I don't think it would affect the breeding process. He'll probably flare when he sees a female that is ready to breed.

I wouldn't worry about it. Wolfie doesn't flare at a mirror, but when he sees a girl... sheesh! He goes nuuuts.
