Well, as you know, my HM Dmitri is in a plastic breeding trap until his new heater kicks into action.
To prevent the girls from jumping in, I took a sheet of plastic and put it on top of the breeding net. It's very thick, so i had problems poking holes in it. Instead, I left a TINY gap open on the side to let air and food through.
Wouldn't you know it, it was enough for Bambi to somehow get inside. I look over at my tank and she's at the bottom of the breeding trap while Dmitri was flaring at the other girls. I think my heart stopped beating for a second or two.
Thankfully, she's still alive. Her fins seem to be okay, but her head area's kinda peach-coloured. I guess she's missing scales? She seems to be okay other than that...she developed breeding stripes, the crazy girl. I hope she'll be okay.
