New Snail-Slick and Midas

So I was at Petsmart today and I decided to get one of the "Mystery Snails" that they have for sale there. I named him Slick, and he is now living with Midas. Midas was just staring at him for the longest time trying to figure out why the heck this weird rock thing was moving!?

Yay!

I got a blue Mystery Snail the other day to keep my betta, Jasper, company. Jasper nipped him at first, but when he realized it wasn't food, he let it live peacefully and even swims by to check on him often. I think he enjoys his friend.

Well I just got him so I'm not sure if he's going to actually keep it clean but we'll see! I've also got 2 Oto's in there so maybe between the 3 of them they can keep the tank squeaky clean...

i have a variety of many snails. they dont clean immensely, i think otos do a better job. and i definately had to take the snails out of my betta tanks, they kept pecking at the snails to where they kept hidden in their shells, their now in my community tank and cruising all over the place most of the time.

Midas will just look at him, but he won't try to nip at him. At least not yet?
