Question Divided Aquarium- Too small?

Just recently my parents bought me a 10 gallon tank, I have 2 bettas who both lived separately in 1.5 gallon tanks and i decided to just put a divider through the center of the 10 gallon tank so i could put my bettas in. Right now the bettas are doing great and theyre very active.. they both have a lot of swimming room. Well anyways, yesterday i went to wal mart and they only had one betta left, he had very dirty water and a very small cup..So i decided to buy him..at the moment i have him in one of the 1.5 gallon tanks but im planning on adding an extra divider in the 10 gallon tank to make room for this betta but im afraid that 3 dividers in a 10 gal tank is too small for 3 bettas, so should i put 3 dividers or should i just find a great home for this betta to someone who will provide him with atleast a 5gal tank? Please help! Thanks(:

I don't think dividing the tank 3 ways would be too small. Each one would have 3.something to live in.

Yes. That's 3.333333... gallons. I think I'd still be a happy betta.

You can really do up to 4, that's 2.5 gallons for each betta.
