I couldnít say no, so I bought the betta!

I went to petco to pick up a plant and some gravel and then there he was. A beautiful white and blue double tail betta. I could not help but not take him home. Of course his tiny cup was filthy but he seamed very active. So I cleaned off the new gravel and silk plant and set up his tank with a heater. I added sea salt and water conditioner. Also bought dried blood worms, yuck!

I have his cup floating in the bowl now. I donít plan to add him for a few hours. I read that I should slowly start adding water from the tank to his cup so the PH does not chock him.

Trying to come up with names, but he sure it beautiful!

Yikes! That cup is disgusting! Thankfully the ones around here aren't normally that bad...

Your guy is gorgeous, though! I bet he'll colour up nicely after he's out of that dreadful cup! You float him around in his cup for about half an hour so he gets used to the temperature, then slowly start adding tank water to his cup.

I love his color now and he is quite small, how much do you think his color will change? And if so what to?

Another picture. I just Love his tail!

So far he likes the new tank. MUCH bigger then the little cup. He is not afraid of us at all and comes to the top of the tank when I come close. I gave him a few dried blood worms and he LOVES them.
