Okay, I know she's not in the biggest of homes right now.... I'm really going to do my best to give her the best of care, though. I have been into the fish hobby for four years now, and I just turned fifteen October 17th. I actually started off breeding Mollies and now have an Oscar we are losing to old age and HITH (he's 11 years old.) a Jack Dempsey that seems to be doing well, and two Mystery Snails that are reaching their time as well. Hopefully when my Oscar boy passes, I can use the tank for a Betta and some neons and bottom feeders, or a tropical community. (I've aways wanted Angels and a Krib. I don't think a Betta would get along with those, though.) That's quite a stunning color change, though. I wish I had some breeders down here in SW Florida. I'd LOVE a HM like yours in your avatar. So pretty and a dream of mine. My mum is about over me and my fush, though. That's why I'm starting to stock up at my father's house. xD

well it sounds like you have alotta experience with a variety of fish. ive never had any with a bouyancy issue. maybe someone can comment on that for you.

where in sw florida are you? i grew up in ft ;lauderdale and lived in west palm beach and wellington and coral springs as well.

i didnt get my hm from a breeder either. i got him at a petco, maybe check there?

Very definitely a male. Either that, or a female with the longest fins I've ever seen.

I've found myself back on.... lol
I feel like utter rubbish, but I am very worried about my little girl.
(and I made a quick trip over, she has an egg spot.)
So you all say she's Delta?
Also, is it rare to find females with such long finnage?
If so, does anyone know what genetically could cause this?
Is she genetically modified and is it going to shorten her lifespan due to this?
I've really grown on her. I want her to be around for a while....
