In my experience, I saw physical recovery overnight. Typically the outer strings and stuff will be the first to disappear.
Just remember to finish the course of both antibiotics before removing them. Just as in humans, cutting a course of antibiotics off early because everything appears to be back to normal in an invitation for a resistant strain of bacteria.
You've done all you can now, just keep super consistent with the antibiotics and don't be afraid to use aquarium salt with them. Also, don't crank the heat too much like you might do with a disease like ich... in this case extra heat will only encourage bacterial growth. A gradual dip to around 76 should be good.
Well, Watson is still doing horribly. I think he's getting worst if that's possible. He is laying on his side and i tried to see if he'd move and he started twitching like crazy like he can't move his bottom half or something. I don't understand what that's about at all. :(
The other fish seem to be doing fine. The one still only has the symptom of being a little lethargic.
The other fish was put on antibiodics because he has a bacterial infection. He seems to be much better.
He's getting worse but still alive. he doesn't go up to breath so i have a low flow air pump next to him so he gets oxygen. I don't know what else to do. Pray for him that he will pull through. He's proven to be so tough already.
