Help with fin rot

Hey everyone, sorry I haven't posted in forever, Iv'e been super busy with school. So Kokomo has fin rot and it's really bad. Just a reminder hes in a five gallon eclipse tank with a filter and heated to 80 degrees. I do about a 20% water change weekly. I thought I caught it early enough to just treat it with salt baths but I've been giving them daily and it hasnt helped. I started Maracyn 2 three days ago and hes still progressively getting worse. I plan to do a large water change at the end of the Maracyn 2 treatment and then start a round of Jungle Fungus Clear if its still not better. Oh and I also added bettafix after his last water change. Does any one have any suggestions of anything else I can be doing for him? It's gone almost all the way up his tail in less than a week Please help!

Ok so after reading a little more it looks like I should be using Maracyn along with Maracyn 2?? Should I start that instead of JFC?

I would try the maracyn and maracyn 2 together and see what happens.

One of my DT males has fin rot really bad also and his back fin is almost gone and I've tried everything and nothing is helping. But, he is healthy otherwise. Hopefully your guy will get better soon!

I had a betta that lost his whole dorsal fin but was otherwise healthy. It never bothered him.
