Filter problems?

In my 10 gal I have made and am using the appropriate baffles, the intake and outtake. But the filter started running good, then slowed until it was barely a trickle. I tried everything until i pulled off the pantyhose and unclicked the second link of the intake, put it back, and turned the filter on. It started off good again, and did the same thing. I don't know what to do now, each time the filter slows Evander sits in the water bottle baffle and flares at me when i try to mave him to fix the filter.

Oh and i meant to ask, does anyone know why my fish swim INTO the net when i try to release them into their tank?

Firstly, you will need to remove the pantyhose every once in a while, rinse it, rinse the intake then put it back together. IME, nylons accumulate gunk in between the stocking and the intake that slows the filter down.

Also, your betta is just disoriented when you put him in the tank and trying to hide inside the net.

Oh k. and i do wash out the gunk every couple of days.
