New tank, stocking idea's

so i am gonna start up my 2'x1'x1' tank and was considering getting a couple of betta's half moon or a sorority of females.

how many females would fit nicely in this size tank ? (it will be decently planted)

or should i put a divider in and house two males ? if so anyone have a link to a good DIY divider ?

what algue eaters would go good with simease ?

Well, thats about 15 gallons, so a nice sorority of 6 or 7 females should be good.

You could have a few otocinclus catfish. :)

A handful of cherry shrimp would also be an option for algae control. Although, it can sometimes be a hit and miss thing. Not all bettas are willing to leave them in peace.

thanks for the idea, im thinking of dividing off a section on the end and having a male in there and then in the main section having a small sorority of females say 4 ish ? would this work or would i have problems ? it cant be worse than those stupid little jars they have around here to house them in.

Yeah, you could divide it for the male to have a third, so 5 gal, and the girls get 10 gallons and all are happy.
