too many plants?

It's a 2.5 gallon tank, there are three different kinds of plants, I am not sure what kinds exactly. Do you think this is too many for a betta fish or does he need more room?

I'd probably throw a few more in there.. But I love tangled jungle tanks.

No, not too many.. I think it it looks like a very nice betta environment, plenty to explore and hide in.

I love them too, and agree - it sure does make them pretty. :)

You could probably try a moss ball, too. They are interesting to look at, and some fish like to sit on them like soft comfy betta-sofas, lol.

I go in bulk. My LPS recognizes me both in person and on the phone. It's weird. @_@

Also, you can't go wrong with a few more plants. I actually find more plants, silk or real, are ideal if you have the floating log in your tank. Makes it easier to pin the log in place, so the log won't pin your BETTA against the tank wall since the log seems to move around quite a bit when not pinned in place by plants.

His log is pretty okay as long as he doesn't go bump it around, there is no fliter and the way the roof of his tank is placed doesn't allow it to go to the edges. I know betta's like a lot of plants to hide in but I still wanted to give him room to swim around, he likes dashing around.
