I have recently gotten a 15 gallon tank and divided it into 3 parts, I have 2 females and 1 male in this tank. The females however who used to be in a 1 gallon each do not spread their fins out as much as they used to and they swim less. They will spread their fins out when I feed them so they are not permanently clamped. I was wondering could this be due to the fact they are small females and they now have so much space that they feel too exposed? They are not acting strangely besides staying near the top of the water and not flaring their fins much now. The male acts the same as he always did.
So with all this said...do you think it would be best to have more coverage in the female sections?
