I ended up getting a Cascade Heater, hope its works well!

Ill have to check again at walmart for my next 2 heaters im going to need.

It was 15 bux.

I have the tank at 78-80 degrees now, still 2 fish with clamped fins, 1 died tonight....

Now i have lost 2 in the tank, 2 fish are still healthy and lively, the other 2 are always hiding and clamped up, hardly ever see them eat....they just dont come up for food when i am feeding.

I think by these 2 dieing it has messed up the hierarchy and now there is alot more chasing... im afraid to add more females because i dont want more deaths if there is a disease inside... what do i do! ahhh :(

Maybe take out the healthy ones, if the tank is contaminated you'd have to clean the entire thing before putting the healthy ones out.
Add aquarium salt to both tanks - just in case.

I add salt and melafix to each water change.

I took out Envy last night my green vt... she had clamped fin and was hiding under my wistera plant, shes not eating and i have her in a cup now... i hope she doesnt go like the rest of them... so far very similar symptoms yet again :(

Im begining to think its Velvet.... the 2 dead fish didnt have any markings on then, but the remaining 2 that look unhealthy seems to have some strange markings, i wouldnt call it gold... or rusty looking, but they look like they hit themselves on something... i donno... HELP :(

oh, and does jungle fungus clear cure velvet? I just put envy in with some, im hoping it will help, she just ate a pellet too. Still clamped fins though.
