My Future Sorority Tank

I still need to get get light bulbs for what do you guys think? (I just set it up so its still cloudy)

I really think I'm going to get that double tail female and put her in tomorrow. I plan to get the water tested every other day since Petsmart will do it for free and I dont have to spend $35 on a kit.

I love it!!
Are those real plants? It looks like it.
In my sorority I have lights that look like they are on the blue spectrum, but i dont remember. My other tank has a "natural" light, and is more yellow.
they both look really nice.

just keep in mind the tests the stores use are the strips which arent as accurate

make sure the tips of the plastic plants cant poke them, id also suggest adding some clay pots and some bushier type of plants for hiding in, i dont know how well they can hide in the pointy ones

Those are the plants that I made, they are really bushy, just can tell from the picture. I do plan to get some clay pots too. I might take some plants out and add some drift wood, not really sure yet, I figure I have lots of time to decide.

I wanted to update. I added 4 candel holders like the ones I have in Master Bettas Bowl. They are a purple frosted holder and made of glass. Got them from Ikea a while ago. The burred them 1/2 way with rocks an they look nice.

LOL here you go. The only one you can see is the one in the center of the tank. I put the other 3 behind plants at different angels. Once I get the lights in it will be easer to see.

Her is a pic of the side so ya'll can see how thick the plants are, so should be good for hiding. I played with the rock a lot to create dips and hiding place behind the plants.

Exciting! I love having a sorority, they're always so active.
