20 gallon and 10 gallon all set up!

So I set up the future 20 gallon sorority and Master Bettas future 10 gallon. What do you all think? The 20 gallon came with a hood, whisper filter, whisper air pump with bubble wand, heater, thermometer, the stand, and some gravel and decor that I'm not keeping. We did a trade for $40 worth of items I had listed on CL. Not bad deal huh! And yes, all those plants are home made.

Would love to hear opinions and I do plan to add live plants in the future. I would love to find a nice piece of drift wood for the betta sorority.

Wow! They both look awesome! I love the look of a natural tank, and I think some driftwood would look great in there.
I think you definitely have caught the betta bug. Went from buying your first betta, to having a ten and twenty gal tanks in less than a month lol.

Elaina, I know! I've only had Master Betta for 2 weeks as of today. He's actually going in the 10 after its cycled. I want to add a couple of dwarf frogs and maybe some zebras or something int that one too.

I wanted to do natural and let the color come from the fish them self.

Going to keep looking for drift wood on CL. For a nice piece they want $30 at the pet store! Come on, its from the lakes and ocean!

They look great. I had that same stand!

I would be worried about putting a 10 gallon on that bottom shelf though. I don't know if it can handle the weight.

AngelicScars - Thats why I have that basket under it. The basked has a medal frame and offers extra support in addition to holding the power strip and extra cord.

I've seen "mopani wood" at petco, and my local pet supplies plus for like $9-$20 depending on size. The pieces actually look pretty nice too. I ordered some off eBay and I really wish I had look at petco first cause I like the stuff they have better. You have to boil the mopani wood first or else it's going to tint you're water a brown color.

looking good! whats the plants in the first tank, the bushy ones? i like it!

were u saying u wanted to add zebras as in danios? might be too fast of swimmers and tail nippers, just keep that in mind. also, if u have a local fish store, they usually sell driftwood cheaper than the chains, well here anyway......theres some nice pieces on ebay too
