New to betta fish!

Well not exactly new. I have had betta fish before, but i have never looked into them as much as i am right now. I have always beleive that betta fish can live in small bowls because well, thats what the petstores tell us. In fact i work at a petstore and thats what we are even trained to tell people! I definatelty will change my answer the next time i get asked about betta homes. But anyways I just got a betta a couple weeks ago and have been keeping him in just a small fish bowl. I will be getting a 10 gal tank to use in a few weeks but i wanted to get maybe a 2.5 gal set up for right now. Do you think that will be fine? also i have a picture of my betta and was wondering if he looks healthy to all of you? Anyways thanks for any help! and sorry about the looong post! :)

Sounds like you are off to a good start! 2.5 gal is fine, and I cannot see the photos.

Thanks! and ya i didn't really know how to put the pics up so i must have done it wrong, sorry! ill figure it out. but it turns out i got my 10 gal tank today so i still have to set it up and cycle it but ill post pics when its done!
