betta belly problem

Hector's belly has been very big for some time now and he's not eating. I think he's constipated but he won't eat anything at all. I've tried everything...Any help is appreciated.

Try some frozen daphnia... they wouldn't turn down that stuff if they were half dead! Plus, it acts like a laxative.

Petco will hae them, as will any pet store or chain pet store. Try searching up the nearest one on Google Maps.

I found the only place in my hometown that had it was a small pet/fish store. Petsmart and Petco didn't carry it (well more like keep it in stock). But you can order it offline if you have to also.

Freeze dried daphnia will work as well but it needs to be rehydrated before feeding to avoid digestive problems. I've been feeding mine freeze dried daphnia for almost a year now and have had no problem with it. It helped my Merlot get over his swimbladder problems.
