Question My betta jumed out of his bowl, help?

So I woke up this morning and i went to feed my fish, and when i got to Pearl Harbors bowl, there was nothing in it....I look down and there he is on the floor. So I pick him up and put him back in his bowl and he is just floating at the top,I went downstairs to tell mom and then when i came back to flush him...he was swimming around!
So I am sooo happy because he is such a pretty fish and it would have been a shame to lose him. So anyway he is just kind of chilling on the bottom and every now and then he will swim around. I just wanted to know what i can do to make sure he lives and gets his strength back?

i would keep him as stress free as possible right now for a day or two, keep lights off, wait to do a water change for a day or two as well

im glad you found him in time! whew!
cover his tank so it doesnt happen again

Phew!!!! What a close call!! I'd put a dark towel over his tank to keep him calm and so he can rest.

id feed him as u usually do, but, remove it if he doesnt eat it within an hour, so it doesnt just decay in the tank. he may or may not eat for the next day or two. but he will be ok if he doesnt

Hopefully. And you might want to ge thim a bigger tank to prevent this from happening again. The people who gave you the idea that bettas will survive in tiny mud puddles are indeed correct... their labyrinth organ is a great method of survival that helps wild bettas pull through droughts. What they forgot to mention is that bettas are also good jumpers and when trapped in a space too small, eg as puddle, they will attempt to jump over to adjoining puddles to get to a larger body of water.
