possible variations

i am considering breeding after i research my brains out which will be like 2 -3 years ok so what would i get if i breed my marble hm to my purple vt ?

If they are pet store fish you never know. They are practicly mutants so you may get a couple strange ones but manly marbles and I think hm/vt can give you combtails.......... correct me if I'm wrong

allright i was checking if there was any deformites i would cull them ah ok i was just wondering yeah they are but ones a petco the other is a lfs betta

In two to three years your bettas will be far to old to breed. I suggest you begin to look for better stock once your ready to breed. You want a fish between 3months and a year old.

To my experience HM x VT = round tail, a few deltas, and a bunch of VT. But then again local breeders in my area loves to experiment. So the HM's are not pure.

I agree with 1fish2fish, in 2 - 3 years you'll need to get new breeders. If possible, get breeders of the same tail type. If you want to experiment, do it to colors not tail type.
