Bad way to start the day....

is in tears.

I got up this morning, went to check on all the fish, and I couldn't see Clypso.. Then I saw his little yellow body curled up on the gravel. He's gone. I thought for a moment that Oliver was gone too, but he started swimming around. Felt the water, it was ICE cold. Darn heater!!!!!!! Stupid thing killed Clypso. I'm so mad and sooo sad. I quickly netted Oliver to get him OUT of the water that Clypso had died in, incase Clypso was sick. Oliver is now in a cup, floating in Angel's tank getting warm.

You really don't realize how much you love something until it's gone...please everyone, tell your fish you love them today. You never know, it could be their last day.

I'm so sorry! :( When I lost Metallica I was absolutely devastated. A lot of people think they're just fish, but they're our pets and they creep into our hearts. I bet Metallica and Clypso are swimming in fishy heaven!

Oh BTW, it was actually my fault that the tank was cold. I forgot to plug the heater back in after a WC. UGH!
