I don't think he's going to make it...

I left thanksgiving holidays with my fish swimming around, colorful, and happy... I come back, and Haze is almost finless with the finrot advance, pale, swollen, and the little fins he has left are clamped up... I don't think my boyfriend did anything, he's been feeding them, changing their water. My other 3 are fine. It's just Haze. This sucks. If he dies, idk what I'm going to do...

I'm so sorry about Haze! I would use tetracycline or Maracyn for fin rot.

You could also try some aquarium salt.

Some Aquarium Salt should help him out. 1 Teaspoon per gallon fot treating a disease. I don't see how his tail got this way so fast. Do you think he got injured it? Also, maracyn 1 and 2 would help a lot too.

He's doing better, he still looks pretty rough but now that he's in warm water he's a lot more active. Chasing after the new ghost shrimp I have. I have everyone in my new 20g, only they're in their 1g with water around them and a heater in there so they're all about in 79 degree water. So I think he's perked up a lot. He might make it, because he was laying on the bottom breathing really heavy but he's acting almost normal now. I'll try to keep y'all updated, I really don't want to lose him.

Glad to hear that he's doing better. My poor new betta developed pin holes in his fins over night.

Thanks, I really appreciate it :] he seems to be doing a bit better, like I said, swimming and breathing normal but he looks really pathetic. I'm just glad I'll be home for good tomorrow to take care of him. Got warm water (I think that might have done it was not being in heated water, but I got that solved now) some JFE and a tad bit of aquarium salt. But thank you for thinking about him
