So there was this little family owned pet store that I haven't been to in about a year, mostly because anything I needed I got from Petco. I didn't think they had fish stuff, but it turns out they have a whole fish room at the back! And bettas! They looked so good. Almost all of them had a bubblenest and when looking at the tanks of the other fish, I didn't see a single dead fish! They had a black and white butterfly one, I kind of wanted him! Plus they have awesome decorations. HUGE pieces of driftwood for 4.99 and nice large rocks for 2.99! I'm so excited. I found a pagoda too, but it was too big for a 10 gallon.

It's called Pets and More and it's in Sycamore.
It's a good 40 minutes from Aurora though.

Halfway down you can see the half of the back room for the fish/plants, and then there is another picture of the filters and the fake plants, then on the ground some of the stones/driftwood! And the pagoda is there, but the one they had was bigger.

Yeah I've been to Sycamore plenty of times. I was actually out at NIU last night too...lol
Hmm, looked at the website, and they sell puppies and kittens there. Don't think I'll be going there now.

If you think they're from puppy mills, they aren't.
All the puppies and kittens are from breeders. They actually gave us the information for a breeder when we bought him last year. So we didn't directly buy from them, but the breeder. We saw the parents too.
