You're allowed to keep them in New Jersey but you need a permit. I've always wanted one too. We have wild ones that hang out in the yard out back and they are SO cute. The best thing about them is that they eat bugs! Like roaches. They're welcome in my yard any old day. But the old husband thinks our Basset would hound it to death so that's where they'll stay. Still, soooooo cute! And they make the neatest sounds.

New Zealand, wow! I've always wanted to visit there, though i imagine it would be too hot for me.

I'm still close to my best friend of 14 years, thankfully. We're really different from each other now, though. When we were little kids, we were always mistaken for sisters.
