Frank's improvement from a tailbiting fiasco!

I made a post a few weeks back, showing the damage Frank had done to himself with his tailbiting - he had torn himself to shreds!
Well, he finally decided to stop, and he's recovering great!

BEFORE (it had gotten much worse, didn't get to take pictures):

NOW:

His tail is looking muuuuuch better - by the end of his tailbiting, he almost had no tail left! it was so short and stubby! the split up the side of his fin has completely healed up, too. he's a much happier boy now.
I'm a happy fish mummy

I'm so glad that he's getting better! I have a tail bitter and it's SO frustrating! Just when his tail heals and is growing, he'll shred it again. *sighs*

Thanks everyone :'D And i know, bettaxfishxcrazy D: its so frustrating, he'd start to show improvement then chomp it right back off. i think the trouble with frank was he was constantly seeing his reflection on the glass of his tank, since the light was in a funny position. i changed everything around and fed him a different type of food and he suddenly stopped!

That's great! I'm giving my tail bitter to my best friend because she loves him and wants a betta. She'll probably divide the tank and get a female or another male to keep him entertained.
