Most people feed theirs every day, twice a day.

I have to disagree! Once a week is NOT healthy in my opinion.

Agreed w/ Drama and Doggy hog! Once a week?! They're not reptiles! Trust me, I would know x3
While they CAN get by on one blood worm a week, many other animals can also get by, barely, with that as well, but it definitely isn't advised! Bettas do much better with a regular, balanced diet, just like any human, cat, dog, snake, rodent, or other living creature.

Yeah, I agree with CodeRed.

I've never had a problem. All of my bettas are pigs. :P
I've heard that soaking pellets in garlic juice helps stimulate their appetite.

Yeah, I don't think once a week is healthy at all. She is eating that way though. *sigh*
Garlic Juice? Interesting....
I tried crushing the pellet tonight and she spit it back out again. I might try to crush the Wardley pellet tomorrow and see what she does. I'm kind of running out of ideas without having to go out and buy more food.

so what I understood from all this is that all pellets have different ingredients. I also read somewhere else that betta's need a diet of diverse food's.

I'm looking at really diversifying Jasper's diet, so I should be looking into another kind of pellet, right...
right now he's eating :
pellet's - Monday and Tuesday
1 bloodworm - after his water change on Wednesday
same pellets - Thursday and Friday
flakes - Saturday and Sunday
2 bloodworms on his birthday and canadien holiday's
a small square of brine shrimp on all other holidays

i'd like to get another kind of pellet for Thursday and Friday.
does his diet seem ok...
is this too much food for him...

That sounds like a good variety to me. Do you feed him just once a day?
