Meijers Grrrrr!!!!

I went in Meijers today to pick up a few things and went back for a few minutes to look at the bettas. They are now in decent sized cups (a little bigger than Petsmart's) and there was only about 2 inches of water in most of them!!! I found an employee and told him they need more water in their cups!! He was like "I don't know anything about it. I don't know who works in the fish department. " I couldn't hang around. My Mom was in a hurry, as usual.So I have no idea what happened. I have a friend who is coming to town this weekend. I may have her to take me over there and I'll go to customer service and complain.
On another, happier note, I got an e-mail from Petsmart and they have a sale going on this weekend and BETTAS ARE 25% OFF if you have a Pet Perks card! Yay! Who knows what I may come home with! lol

I wonder if they have that offer in Canada too...

I just looked at the e-mail again and it said prices are good in U.S. stores the 11th - the 13th. Maybe they'll have one in Canada later.

I was in Pet Smart yesterday and they treat their Bettas the same way

My Petsmart does ok with their bettas but I do occaisionally find dead ones and some with sbd. I'm going to try to check Meijers in a few days and see if there has been any change. I'm going to look at the bettas and if I see any in just an inch or two of water, I'll march it right up to the customer service desk and show them and explain to them that bettas cannot live in that small amount of water.
