I know a few of you have seen my post about Opaque white bettas in the "help" part of the forum. I went to the pet store today, and... unfortunatley, the guy I had my eye on wasn't there. But they had jsut gotten in a new shipment of baby Bettas! I was looking around at the assortment of small round bowls when a little orange and blue baby crowntail swam into view and sat on his gravel, staring at me. He was the only one who took an interest in me. The rest were very dull and not very brightly colored. After looking him over well, I bought him (yay!) His name is Audie (just in case, aww-dee.) He's quite small (though he doesn't look it in these pictures!!) And I know, he's rather chubby (at the petstore, they were overfeeding them.) but that'll be no problem. He's in a Hexafun tank at the moment. I need to add some gravel and a hiding place (which I will add tomorrow). But other than that, he's quite happy, if not stressed. Sorry about the bubbles on the glass, and the picture quality- for some reason my camera wasnt exactly cooperating today... Anyway, Enjoy! (I know he probably ins't much to look at, but I like him. (And by the way, guys, he has blue scales at the end of his back and like small stripes on his flank.) Ooh, and I'm wondering, is he a piebald? Because I was just lookin at him (in real life) and his head is white. I know he's not a solid.
