FINALLY here!

I just got my Marimo Balls in the mail today. They have been in the mail for almost a MONTH. They came from the U.K. so I'm assuming they were caught up in customs. Anyway, they look really well. I thought they'd look terrible being in the cold, dark, and without water. They are a nice lush green. I hope they stay that way. They are in the tank now and Solace loves hers. She hangs around them and picks at them. Castiel doesn't care either way.

I'm just happy they are finally here!

You got them from the same dude Elaina and I did I guess. Three weeks! But like you said, they looked fine. They've been in my tank for a couple of weeks and they're still very pretty dark green, so yours should be too.

I've since read that they're very, very hardy and that they actually prefer colder waters. So... I put one in a quart bell jar with some gravel all by itself in the bathroom on the sill. My husband's like... You have a pet algae?

I call it Al! :P

I've read they are tolerant of a wide range of temps too. I think the max temp I read was around 82 degrees F. I keep my tank at a steady 78. :D
