Yes that's really his name! It's a bit hard to tell in some of these photos, but he is mostly dark blue, with a black splotch on his head and red ventral fins.
And here he is with the java fern.
We just got him today and he is very happily exploring his new tank. It took him a while but he has figured out he can swim inside the skull. And he surprised us by swimming out through one of the eyes! We thought he'd be too big to do that.

OMAGAH he looks JUST LIKE my boy Chance! He even has the red on the whiskery fins, and the white tips! He's like, Chance's long lost twin, I'm not even kidding. So of course, I love him! Here's Chance:
