Plants

What are some easy types of plants to take care of? And what are the lighting requirements? I just got a baby betta and want to get maybe one or two easy to take care of things for her.

Java fern, Anacharis, Anubias just to name a few. They are pretty low light.

You could also do Brazillian Pennywort, Wisteria, guppy grass (my new obsession), mosses like Java moss, christmas moss, etc. Floaters like frogbit and duckweed.

I have a Crypt Undulate that has thrived through 2 tanks and 3 substrates including gravel only.
