horry crap you're from kentucky too!!!

The first one I was going to bid on I decided against since I recently became obsessed with black orchids, preferably crowntail. No worries though, I'm still scheming and have a plan

I've paid anywhere from $6 to $17 for my boys and girl.

I'd go up to about $40 if i absolutely fall in love and can't resist one :)

Hmmm I probably wouldn't pay more than $20 ATM, but maybe when I am older and have some more jingle in my pockets, then maybe I could bump it up...lol

The only place that occasionally has HMs here also charges a lot for them. For Dmitri, my black 'dragon' HM, I paid $23. I spent all my food money on him, so I lived off of carrots, cheese, and cereal bars for a week. xD

He was the betta of my dreams, though if I knew how sickly he was I probably wouldn't have spent the money.

My DT was labeled as a 'panda HM'. I tried to tell him it was a marbeled DT, to get a discount, but I chickened out...

I called 3 different pet stores today and they all only have red and blue bettas, so I believe I'm still going to buy this one off aquabid.

I paid about $100 for a HM pair from Thailand, but that was with shipping and whatnot.

For a fish alone I paid $20 for my HM Female, and she is well worth it! SO hard to find good bettas here without driving 20mi to get one.

I have to drive at least 15 minutes to get to a pet store and they only have red and blue variations, so I shall stalk aquabid
