Harold

This is Harold, I haven't had him very long. Got him setup in a nice ten gallon, and he's happy to be out of that cup the store had him in.



He wont hold still long enough for me to get a picture of him in the light.

I named my freshman year roomate harold, because he had the same name as me (alex) and we could not have the same name... he was a bit sour toward the idea, but he warmed up to it after about a year, its been 3+ years not and he still goes by Harold :D

Thanks! He's a very nice shade of blue when he gets into the light, but he likes to crowd the front of the tank when I'm nearby. He does have a number of plants, and tonight I added a little rock "cave" in case he wants anything darker. This is my first betta and after watching him swim around in the ten gallon I have for him, I'm shocked that so many people buy them just to let them sit in a little bowl. They're very active, and it's kinda' sad.

And as always happens with fish, I am now setting up a second ten gallon tank for another betta. Good times.

And as for the name, it's the first thing that came to mind as I put him in the tank, and if that's the first thing, then that's the name.
