Tetracycline is what we use on our fish at school for a number of bacterial disorders...the trout and whatnot. It seems to work on them and they are for feed trial research for increasing the efficiency of feeds fed o trout and salmon so I think they would use a good treatment product...but I have never used it on aquarium fish...hrmmm

(don't worry it's not mean research...we looked at their pooh and growth rate lol)

Lol!!! I took an aquaculture minor so I got to take lots of cool courses, this one was in my Introduction to Aquaculture class where you kind of go over a lot of basics, and that was for my nutrition section of the class. We all had to take care of the fish each one day a week. I enjoyed working with the rainbow trout, they get so excited for food they start splashing and going crazy lol!

but I also took Aquatic ecology, Fish Physiology, Fish Health, Finfish production and Shellfish production. They were all so much fun! lol!

I majored in animal sciences, focusing on agricultural animals. We have a farm on campus where we can learn a lot of things. Basically I took this degree to apply to vet school, which I just recently sent in my application. It's hard to get in, so I don't know if my first attempt will be successful or not. Most people say they get in their second try. I am hoping to take the 4 year program to specialize in small animals (I wanted to do large animals, but a wrist injury has caused me to change my plan I recently found out I can no longer restrain large animals easily). I also want to take an extra year in specializing in fish so that I can also work as a fish vet as well for aquaculture farms since there are not many around and well I like fish too

I think that's great! I hope you're able to get into vet school. You never know, you might get in on the first try. I wish you good luck with it.
