What type of Betta do I have???

O.K. I have no camera at the moment but I am curious what you would call my betta? He is a deep blue with very full, solid blue fins and body. All along the edges of all his fins are deep ruffles that curl back and forth. So very pretty! I rescued him from a Pet Co. where the water in his tiny cup was almost completely evaporated! I reached into one aquarium and scooped out some more water. I don't have a problem with Pet Co. There were so many tiny cups of bettas and no one was tending to them. I coudn't stand it....he came home with me! That's how it started....I am very happy with him and he with me

sounds like a crowntail... but Petco labels the cups, or at least mine do. if it just said "Male Betta" then it's a veiltail.

Congrats. on your new buddy. There's a great link on this forum that shows all the betta types and colors. Check out the betta section some more and you'll prolly find just what you're looking for.

Does anyone remember who posted the link? I'm kind of numb atm - just put in a 12 hr. day at work. Grrrrrrr!!!
