late "chrsitmas shopping"

Well, pretty soon me and my friend (iheartmyfishies) are going to go over to Petco and the LFS looking for plants shrimp and girls for her ten gallon sorority. (I will be giving her adfs to my uncle, for his died :(, and I will be giving her my girlie due to lack of space at my house, and need of girls at hers)
Here's our list, feel free to add:

Ghost Shrimp
Slik plants
Live plants
Marimo Ball
Maybe another girl or two....

she already has one girl (and soon a second) and a few small plants in her tank.(and heater and filter)

I will be paying for it all since I got so much money for x mas.
The total is $43.60 with tax.

All I want to say is if she's going to add more bettas, there HAS to be at LEAST 4. Only 2 together would kill each other. Same with three. Good luck!

I had 2 in a 10 gallon for some time, then 3, now 4. IT all depends on the temperament of the fish :D

I would personally ditch the silk plants and get all real ones.

but regardless, be sure to show us pics of the completed tank :)

Ok Alex, that's good to know, because I have Heidi, who's really sweet, going into Abby's sorority with her actual SISTER, from the same spawn, Carolina. They will probably get along fine. (knowing they both are really nice fish that don't hurt their tankmates)

I would go all real, but I am getting 2 silk for her just in case something would happen during the move that is coming up.
