Tank set up idea...

Below is my rough idea so far. I want to use colors that will make Comet pop and be noticeable, but also go with his coloring as well. I was thinking of pastel colors. anyway. I just want some input, and some suggestions from you guys. What are things you found that your betta's like and such.
I'm also wondering if ADF's like to have something to sit on above the water? I know they breath air, so they must be able to sit outside of water, right? And yes I have a tight fitting top so he wont jump out. I was thinking floating plants, maybe some fake lilypads or something.

(That olive-spotted thing on the bottom right is the ADF.)

No they don't need anything to sit on, they don't leave the water. My HM loves his bubble chest (set on low pressure) and Jazz loves his Airstone. And if you have one adf, you have two right? I found that although bettas don't like currents, they like bubbles. And you could get a snail, they're soo cute! I love your color scheme!

Two, because they're social and like to be in pairs.

ADFs do come up for air, but it's usually just a zoom up then back down again. They do prefer to be in pairs and they love hiding spots. Also note, they can jump out of the water just like a Betta. If you have a hood, you'll be just fine. Good luck with the ADFs and the whole tank setup! :D
