Killifish

We have a 100 litre tank with at the moment 4 female betta's....soon to be 6 when i add the other 2, but my partner has seen some beautiful killifish & would like some. Our aquarium only sells them in pairs as male & female & i wondered whether they'd be compatible with female betta's????

i'm kinding hoping they are as i seem to have taken over the house with my betta's & i'd like to let him have his own fish which he chooses & likes. LOL!

I don't know much about killfish, if they have vivid colors, and/or long tails, I would say no, because bettas would attack it, also it depends on the female's temperament

From what I've found online they can not be kept with aggressive or territorial fish, aka the betta.

I saw a pic of them, and wow, the vivid colors would attract a betta picing a fight, unless you have a VERY timid betta
