Revamping aquarium question

I've decided I want to give my aquarium an overhaul. Its starting to look a bit messy, and I want to get rid of everything in it and put everything in new (except of course, my filtration and my fish!)

My only question is... will I have to cycle my tank all over again? Or, will I be okay since I'm using the same filtration?

Are you going to put in new gravel, too? If so, put some of the old gravel in a pantyhose and put that in your tank. Keep your filter in some old aquarium water so it doesn't dry out. I hope this helps.

Even if you put some old gravel in the pantyhose your tank will still have to go through a new cycle. But if you put as much of the old gravel in there as you can while cycling it shouldn't take very long.
