The Ordeal

I'm finally back from the great move from home back to the dorms, getting a total of eight fish and two tanks moved. It was quite a challenge, and it came with quite a scare. I put my betta boys in the cups they had come in for the trip. When I arrived at my destination, I picked up Mo's cup only to discover that all of his water had drained out! The cup had somehow been cracked and his water leaked out during the transit. Describing my reaction as a panic attack isn't even the half of it. I was horrified... but then he gave a little flop and I immediately rushed off to get him into some water.

Fortunately he pulled through with no harm done. All of the fishies are zipping around their newly arranged tanks taking in the change of scenery. Crisis averted. Phew.

Wow.. you've got a little fighter, there! Glad he's ok! I'm amazed you have room for all those fishies in a dorm!

Lol, who needs desk space in a dorm anyway?

I honestly never use my because it's so low to the ground that I can barely get my knees under it... which is really pathetic because I'm 5'4". I wonder what pains the 6' guys in the suite next to us are suffering. If nothing else, the desk makes for a great place to put my tanks. ^_^ I am considering finding myself another little stand or something though.
