Question Herp Haven question...

Has/does anyone used/use this for aquatic purposes?
I read on the inside to test it for leaks if used as such. Other then that, it doesn't say it could or couldn't be used as an aquarium.

Other than the fact that it is pretty shallow, no, i don't see why not.

They have some that look just like Kritter Keepers too. Those are the ones I'm referring too.

I've never used one myself, but I would assume they would work, as they can be used for frogs. However, they're probably thinner than the fish keepers, to allow heat to enter easier. I might use it for a bit, but not for an extended period of time, in case it wore down over time.

Ah, okay. I was planning on using it as something permanent.

I guess I could always keep an eye on it. If it ever starts looking stressed, gets small cracks or anything like that I'll replace it ASAP.

I check mine every time I clean them to make sure there aren't any cracks or anything.

I was actually looking into using a storage container! The only thing that shied me away from it was the rigid tops, it's hard to find CLEAR clear one, and I would have to make a breathable lid.
I did go ahead and buy the Herp Haven. The lid does have a round pop out thing that I could pull the wire from the heater through.
PLUS, I found one with a grey lid so it's not some ghastly neon color.
